Sore feet, gelato and green shoes.

So, right now we're watching Shallow Hal in Italian. The voices aren't even matching up to the mouths and your typical, lazy Jack Black voices is missing. But now, I, Jessie Neil, will start from the very start of our strange journey.
It was Sunday when we boarded the plane to Dubai. For Freya and I, it was pretty exciting seeing as we'd never been on a plane before.
Our grandparents came to bid us 'a Jew' and we left Melbourne for Dubai.
Okay, so I'll sum up the plane trip.
• Uncomfortable
• Claustrophobic
• And funny food.
Eventually we got off, boarded on the plane to Italy and got the hell out of Dubai.
Eventually, we made it to Italy, after 5829582 movies.
And here, we are in Rome.
Today, we walked everywhere.
We saw the Pantheon (not to be mixed up with Parthenon!).
We visited the Capuchin Crypt, several Piazzas, the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps.
Our lunch was damn delicious. We all had pizza that were ENORMOUS and Dad had two beers.
I swear to god, if we were offered one more umbrella, qehrhcjsbbdsiwb.
As we walked back, I bought a pair of bright green desert boots, which are pretty rad and I had a dark chocolate gelato. It just melted in my mouth
Overall, it was a hard day, our legs are more than sore but it was AMAZING.
Now we're off for dinner. Off for Italiano food. Jealous?

  1. Yes I am jealous! What a great day and glad you all survived the flight. (Freya - Sorcha missed you at band practice this very wet and cold morning). The Murphys.

  2. I'm jealous too!

Memories of my first visit to Europe when I was in year 10. Thanks for blogging and the photo looks like quite a view. It's been cold here today and rest assured, nothing has changed in Melbourne.

    Do you miss Jock?

    xx Margie

  3. Wow, you must be exhausted - that's a lot of ground to cover in a strange land! I'm looking forward to seeing the shoes, they sounds excellent. Wish I was there!
